I have:
-Men's Health "Amazing Abs"
-Men's Health "The Abs Diet: Nutrition Guide"
-The Atkins Diet
-The South Beach Diet
I like to read them for nutritional science and to be knowledgable, not really the exercises unless I am in the gym and need to use the medicine ball/swiss ball. I find that reading a few books is better than reading one, because all of these books have a redeeming quality to them. I find that the books by Men's Health are easier to read and less technical, making the diet less of a pain to try to understand. And it is the most sensible and logical.
