Introduction..Tell us about yourself
My name is Lourans, 28, and active duty in the Marines and parent to a beautiful girl name Trinity who was born on 11-23-05. I found out about her when she was 18 months old and have taken care of her since finding out about her, not as a paycheck, but as a father.
1) Favourites..
Color-red/gray
Number-11-23-2005 More like a sequence of numbers. Trinity's birthdate.
Day-Saturday
Smell- Hmmmm? There are different ones for certain circumstances. Waking up though, is smelling Trinity near by.
Food- I love food! A favorite? That is hard, Medium rare steak or some lemon pepper chicken, both grilled.
Drink- Water, juice or milk, not to fond of carbonated beverages.
Celeb-I would have to say none at all, most of them are shallow and self absorbed.
Music-Hip Hop, although now I don't listen to what I used to due to Trinity, so probably Kidz Bop....HA, nah some good old school R&B like Bobby Womack, Otis Redding, some jazz like Miles or Coltrane.

5) What is your biggest desire at the moment?
To finalize everything, purchase a house, and be happy with my daughter, maybe find a wife to get a "real" family and more kids ;).
6) What experiences in your life have contributed to who you are today?
I base my life in a few memorable chapters, 1 was being born Assyrian, 2 would be school, 3 is the Marines, and the most recent and probably the longest and most important is my daughter.
7) Who would you say is the most inspirational person to you?
My daughter, I see her growing up and learning, it just inspires me everyday to see her as much as I can and do all that I can for her. She is my life.
8) What made you join the military?
I wanted to challenge myself, get out on my own, and travel. Haven't traveled much though.
9) As a Military man & also a Middle Eastern man how do you feel about the wars in the middle east?
Can I really say? It's my job to do what I am told to do. My personal opinion may differ from I have to do but I have to keep those separate. So we will leave it at that.
10) What do you do on your spare time?
Spare time? I wish I had some of that. My day consists of going to work, wrenching on some helicopters, and rushing home to play with my Trinity, then shower, brush teeth, and sleep.
11) How does it feel being a Single Father?
It has it's ups and downs. Main thing is I don't have someone else to help watch Trinity, but then that means she's always with me, so I just get no break.
12) Do you believe in disciplining a child (common slap on the hand, butt, etc.) or do you thing grounding them is the best thing?
Depends on the crime, do I think you should cock back and go full force, NO, never. Talking to them and explaining to them what they did is a lot better. Plus Trinity always emulates me when I try to be stern so I can never stay angry.
13) Do you feel that religion has a place in the world today or has anger,greed taken over?
I think religion has anger and greed in it. The crusades, Salem witch hunt, and I can't remember what Spain did. But Religion does provide a good foundation for teaching people right and wrong in most cases. Is the world worse than it was before? Every generation says that, who knows?
14) What do you look for in a female..physical/mental?
First thing is physical, no lie there..........But a very very close second is her personality! Very close.
15) How do you feel about Homosexuals....is it a choice or are they born feeling fruity?
I don't know, but when I first encountered them working at the Old Navy in Downtown Chicago, I saw they were actually pretty cool people and very funny. Plus the guys knew some of the hottest straight chicks. As far as they told me they all felt they were born gay.
To each their own, I would never do it though, women are sexy, a naked dude just doesn't do it for me. NEXT!
16) Do people ever judge you for your Tattoo's?
No one ever comes up to me and says anything, but do I notice people staring and speaking under their breath? Yes, especially at Assyrian/Chaldean events or church. It's like they think I don't know how to speak or understand the language.
17) Are you a Leg man or a Breast man or other & why?
Ass man, the legs are part of the buttockal region. Who needs big huge boobs, all you need are a handful, however a "ba dunk a dunk" does so much more.
18) If you could have dinner with anyone from the past who would it be & someone from the present?

19) If you could change 1 thing about our scociety what would it be & why?
IF your referring to the Assyrian society...
I would change the fact that everyone has a tendency to be rude and so judgmental. No one ever says excuse me when they bump into you and never say thank you. And the fact that we are at each others throats over stupidity instead of unity.
20) Have you ever killed someone if so how did you feel?
Not yet, I'll make a post about it if and when I do.
21) If you could have a 1 night stand with any Celebrity who would it be?

22) have you moved around a lot....where has been your fav place to live ?
I would say no, but I was born in Baghdad, lived in Rome for a year then the US in Chicago till was 22, then NC, and now San Diego CA.I would say Chicago is a great city, but you can't beat the weather in SD.
23) Is there any misconceptions you think people have towards the Military that youd like to clear up?
Yes, not everyone goes crazy, we don't get paid a lot. that would be about all I can think of.
24) Do you ever snoop into peoples medicine cabinets & take anything?
Nope, I just do my business and get out.
