Most these foods listed I had.. But I had no idea they were only Chaldean foods and dishes. :think:

There is turshie in persian food but its like topping (kinda sour) that you add to rice.
I've had arabic food before but I have to say persian is better!!!

I wish i had the time to type out all my favorite chaldean food...but unfortunatly i only have 15 seconds to list these...Bomiah, Tepsi, Dolma for sure, pacha, Kaari, and i gotta jit....

LOOL you guys made me stop and think for 2 seconds... i wasnt sure what the heck Chaldean food is.... I thought it must be some sort of Special food u guys eat or something *:roll: *but having read your replies, i realised chaldean food = iraqi food = my Food lol


OK here is my top ones


1- Kuba's : it includes Kuba hamoth, Kubat mousil ( this is special big Kuba that is popular with people of Mousil, i am orginally from there , moslaweee), Kubat halab, Kubat Qaisi ( also made in mousil)....

2- Dolma

3- Qozi and Biryani

4- Kabab Arbil

5- Riza and Marga : includes Bamya, Fasoola( white), Betinjan, and other selected vegtables....

HAHAHA...OMG I HAVE THAT BOOK TOO! *lol, but she takes a bunch of different middle eastern foods and puts them in there...kibbe is a traditional lebanese dish....just like biryani isnt arabic, but is indian

BUT


Kuba is chaldean :)

ie same food, but different Types.... for example, Lebanese dont make Kuba hamoth, they make what we call back home " kubat halab" or " Aqras" its a meduim size kuba's filled with meat :)

Okay I hate bamiye LOL too slimyyyy, I like kofte, bedinjan but with a lot of garlic and tomato! lol...and I love yogurt and turshi on the side :D
