Forum Request.... Gender and Sexuality

I'm requesting that we add a forum entitled Gender and Sexuality to house all discussions about Gender and Sexuality. I don't think the lounge is a good place for these discussions, neither are any of the other forums.

but what are topics that are "ok" to be discussed on this forum? shisha and chai? current events? last time I checked, someone can say or discuss whatever they want (in a respectful manner) on a public forum.

I have a simple solution, you don't like a thread's title, just don't open it and post in it , just move on to the next one.

Blame it on Enrico. He wore out the welcome mat as far as that goes. Anything can be discussed, but for it to be discussed over and over and over and over and over...well, you get the picture.

Meh, maybe it was an exhausted topic but most of them went on for 5-6 pages because it's something people felt strongly about and wanted to discuss.

This forum has a serious lack of activity because nobody starts threads anymore and the threads that will generate a lot of discussion are mostly political issues and whatnot. And since religion and politics are locked for most members, this place will continue to stay quite dead.

To the people who bitch about certain threads, I don't see you making good threads and having deep discussions. Avoid topics you don't like. Simple as that.

I think Sam is killing his own forum by restricting people from talking about politics and religion. Most people aren't going to want to PAY to use a forum that's as low in activity as this. Just my opinion.

Both of those topics could be considered political to be honest. If you have a thread on gender or sexuality, just post it in the lounge though unless you want to pay money to use a dead sub forum.
