Have any of you heard the track from the new 2pac Loyal To The Game album called "Don't You Trust Me."? *It features Dido and was produced by Eminem, track 11 to be exact. *It's a real amazing song, especially the beat and Pac's lyrics. *I know alot of people are mad that they have been playing with his music and that Eminem got to produce most of the album. *I thought he did a serviceable job and the album came out good. *Not his best, but not the piece of trash like some people are makin it out to be, that's just way too harsh and judgemental. *
As far as the albums that have been released since he died, Until The End Of Time is my favorite, and Better Dayz comes second. *Both are double disc albums. *I'm not taking The Makaveli 7 Day Theory into consideration since he finished that album before his untimely death. *That album in itself is a classic, especially the first and last song (#1 Bomb First & #12 Against All Odds). *As far as my favorite album when he was alive, without a doubt All Eyez On Me, another double album. *Too many songs to mention, in my opinion a masterpiece. *By the way, 2pac is my favorite if you haven't noticed already, so he gets my special treatment, lol. *If he didn't die I feel like he would have just gotten better and better as a musician, cause he was on a roll and you could tell he was on the upswing. *
Alot of semi-talented rappers are having lots of success nowadays because things are more main-stream than ever. *It's scary to think what Pac would have been able to do if he was around today. *Some of the guys that are having inflated success, I don't think they would be having as much of it if Pac was around. *Anyways, I don't wanna get too off topic. *Just would like to know if anyone has heard this song yet? *If you haven't, and you do get the chance, check it out it's a great song.

Armenian, NWA is tight. *Your right, they did get this thing started out here on the west side. *They are legendary. *Remember Eazy-E's diss to Dre and Snoop. *That song called Real G'z. *He tore em up on that song, it was pretty funny too. *(Tell me where you find this anorexic rapper! lol) *Too bad he went before his time also.
Pfizzle, I feel ya on the korny rappers. *I like G-Unit. *But I feel they are overrated. *However, in watered down rap these days they are the big show. *I'm interested to see what the hype is all about in that rapper "The Game." *They are givin him a 50-cent like push. *His album is comin out this month. *Let's see if he's the real deal or just over-hyped. *I will reserve judgment until I hear the album. *I hope Shyne gets out of jail soon, he's got alot of talent. *I'd like to see what kind of album he can do when he is free. *I really feel he has the ability to challenge 50 cent. *On his Godfather Buried Alive album track 13 is amazing, Diamondz and Mack 10z.

All mainstream is gay. They're all about money and no talent. They have good beats but thats it.

My favorite 2pac song and reminds me of my best friend...we love it
Called "Are you still down"? with Jon B
My favorite part of the song is the end, when 2pac says "You still down for me"?

I got way too many favorite Pac songs. *I don't know what I would do if I had to pick one favorite, that's just too difficult for me, lol. *However, I will say some of my better liked songs of his are from the material of his last year of life. *I like alot of the angry, venom filled songs that were conceived during that time. *They are nice motivational tools (for me) and are a reliable (for me once again) thing to fallback on when I'm fed up with the world (which is quite often, lol) *They just capture the mind of a person that in his last year of living was going through many types and varieties of demons, feelings, and emotions. *You could feel the anger in alot of those songs. *This material is classified as his Makaveli "stage" in life. *Contrary to the opinion of others, I feel during this angry "stage" is when his best stuff was done and recorded. *The man was on a rampage the last year of his life and you could tell he was growing in all aspects of the game. *No one in the rap game could touch him in my eyes. *Had he not succumbed to death he would have also grown in the movie industry as he had already done a few movies in his short life. *He left on top and ten years from now he still won't be forgotten. *RIP Pac

I respect your opinion, because I've heard others who share your view honestly. *It's really preference to tell you the truth. *We'll agree to disagree. *His lyrics have an extremely powerful meaning in my eyes. *Ya I know about Rakim and Mos Def and guys like that, and I know what you mean when you're talkin about the lyrics, freestyle, and battling. *But as far as meaning and story-telling, Pac can paint a picture in my head. *For overall package, 2pac was it for me. *No doubt about it.

It is about preference. Pac his lyrics is passionate. Thats what you like. I like them metaphoric lyrics. Its art. Its hip hop and thats what its all about. Some of his songs are about drinking/hoes/weed shit like that. I dont like that stuff.

"Tupac has passion but hes definitely not a good lyricist." ??????????
2pac was thee lyricist. How many artists today like to take from him? Obviously you haven't heard all that he has made. Exclude the BS album Loyal to the Game. Horribly produced.

Everyone has there own taste in hip hop. Tupac is a passionate person. He uses hip hop to express his feelings. Hes DEFINITELY not a good lyricist. LOOK at Rakim B, Chino XL, Big L, KRS ONE , MOS DEF, TALIB KWELI, Q-tip, MF DOOM....here them out and u come back and tell me if Pac was as skilled as these boys i mentioned.

all i have to say is that tupac had a way with words...
he could take a song like "wonder why they call you bitch" *and make it put out a positive message...
he was an amazing lyricalist.

Im not saying others arent good but 2pac was better. He could make a song about anything and he did. *I collect all his unreleased and rare songs so I've probably heard more than most of you but still the way he put words together no other artist can beat him lyrically. Thats why all these rap artists always mention pac. Big L has a song with pac called Deadly Combination by the way.

Bro i know all about it trust me. I have or heard most of his "rare" songs. But hes not the best lyricist around. I have 2 of Big L's album and both where great. 2pac is NO WHERE NEAR RAKIM B or even BlackThought. These guys come up with creative rhymes (metaphorically) and they're real.
