St.Mary's Youth Group is Hosting it's 3rd Annual Fundraiser Baskebtall Tournament here in Detroit,MI. Also along with the Tournament there will be a setup Cultural Concert with some assyrian singers. The singers are Julie Yousif, Munther Kasmikha, and Raad Kizy if anyone has any questiosn feel free to email me and i can get you in touch with the right people...

party is on Saturday January 15, 2005 and Royalty House in Warren, Michigan. *

Tickets are being sold prior to the party...might be sold out at the door and you will not get in (this happened last year)

$25 advance and $35 at the door.

all ages...it's just a lot of fun...i would say the majority are between the ages of 16-50


i know that's pretty broad lol but there was a turn out of almost 1,000 last year.

they already have the teams...they practice prior to the game...but maybe next year you can play for the chaldean team...ill try to get u more info!

well...just a fyi...this guy tahts part of this organization is going to be starting a youth sports assoc...for assys & chaldos...and so when i get more info on it...ill post it...

its going to be a variety of sports...so if they hvae basketball im gonna do it and hopefully ur sis can join me

i dont know if they're going to have a big turnout like last year, they did last year b/c it was Linda George and she hadnt been in Detroit for wow God knows how long...but Julie Yousif should bring a crowd, hopefully.

btw, so far the league for the athletic club that was organized by Ashor is only mens basketball... i think they plan on doing something coed in the spring/summer, but im not for sure.
