i thought that it was pretty much a known fact that the population of the world is growing at a hyperbolic rate, but apparently i have found that some people do not believe it. any non-believers here? care to explain?

umm yes i believe in over population, as matter facts its reverse situation here in the united states itself we have the problem of the decline of white people, by the year of 2050 the percentage will drop from 79% white people to 54%.. the number of hispanics will rise to 25% from 13.7% the blacks to 15%.. and also the asians... not to mention other ethnic groups from eastern europe, middle east. because of the lack of oppurtonties back there, also did i forget to mention that china has about 1.2 billion citizens, and they are limiting the number of couples to 2 kids only.. and studies shows that by 2050 also the worlds population will rise from 6.5 billion to 10 billion.. thats alot of people.

This isn't really a debate. *There is a population crisis. *Whoever that doesn't believe so, doesn't matter. *Because they're either 1) ill-informed, 2) live life through the guidance of a 2000 year old book that advocates procreation without any regard to earth's capacity to sustain life, 3) have been conditioned by their (primitive) culture to believe that one's ultimate goal is to marry, breed, and raise their family in such a way to maintain its honor.

Actually. *I said I didn't want kids. *Everyone here jumped down my throat and called me an animal. *Including the lone "liberal" or "open-minded" one, as she likes to call herself (we all know who i'm talking about...). *Chaldeans have a problem rationalizing their thoughts. *You can ask them if they think there is a population problem. *And some will say yes. *And if you ask those same people who said yes, if they would ever consider solving the problem. *They'd probably slap you. *
