You really are the most inconsistent person in the world. *This is the same man who tried to have Roe v. Wade overruled . *You got over the whole right to privacy thing already? *And the whole women's rights bullshit you keep crying foul over. *That was a charade as well?

People eat up the stuff they watch on TV as if it were cotton candy. *So he's a good lawyer? *How do you people know that? *Just because his academic record is top notch, doesn't reflect his integrity. *

Oh well. *Maybe he'll come out as a flaming liberal. *Eisenhower's nominees did! *Souter ended up to be, at best, a moderate. *Hah. *Even what once were conservatives, eventually realize how much bullshit there is behind the conservative movement in terms of civil rights. *As soon as they're given lifetime terms and don't have to worry about re-election, they amazingly often turn into moderate-liberals.

You have no idea who I am!!! If you need to know, I believe that abortion should be allowed to the point of viability. There will so the morning after pill will always be before viability.

Since you've studied so much constitutional law Samd, I'm sure you know that Roe v. Wade found *a "constitutional" right to have an abortion. Strict constitutionalists, such as myself, find this abhoring. Nothing in the constitution refers to abortion.

Before Roe v. Wade, many states allowed abortion. The backward states with christian majorities did not. So if Roe v. Wade was overturned, there are a number of options: the US Congress could pass a law allowing abortions (unlikely bc this is clearly a States' rights issue) or individual States will pass laws allowing abortions. This is the more likely option. Clearly, NY, MA, MD, CT, CA, and IL, will pass such laws. MI, VT, PA and OH probably will since they typically vote liberal.

OK Samd, you can take your focking foot out of your mouth now.

Ay yai ya! *You think you shut me up over your third grade history lesson? *You've obviously never heard of the right to privacy? *That isn't mentioned in the constitution either, but it is, as interpreted by the Justices of the Supreme court, a "penumbra" of the 1, 3, 4, 5 amendments. *That right alone, lets you do all the things you're so proud of doing. * A strict constitutionalist, like yourself, would have had sodomy banned. *Right? *Oh no. *You're just an INCONSISTENT BLUBBERING MORON. *Read Lawrence V. Texas. and *Bowers v. Georgia. *Thank the liberal justices for using their moral judgement when interpreting the Constitution. *And they're the ones who let you go to school with white children in order to earn your worthless phd. *You moron.

As a "strict constitutionalist" you should also note that the Constitution does not refer to a fetus as a person. *Persons are referred to as individuals who are both capable of voting, and consistently uses the word "person" in a manner expecting that the individual has some sort of mental capacity beyond that of the Renees of the world. *Therefore, they neither have DUE PROCESS, EQUAL PROTECTION or any of the other rights a normal individual would. *Can you taste the athletes foot yet?

Further, the only critique of Roe v. Wade one can legitimately make is Blackmun's majority opinion. *He makes mention of a "point of viability" in his trimester rule. *However, with medical advances (and more to come), that point has been proven to be completely arbitrary, to the extent that someday, the point of viability can be pushed back to the moment of conception. *Can one limit abortion at the point of conception? *Even someone with your limited level of reasoning can imagine how ridiculous that would be. *So therefore, Blackmun has been criticized by both conservatives AND LIBERALS. *That's the problem with Roe v. Wade as far as i'm concerned. *

Btw.. Strict constitutionalists need to shut up already. *I don't recall the constitution mentioning the internet. *Why let the court hear cases on modern technology. *Renee. *It's ok. *This can be dealt with as previously mentioned. *Just casually light on fire whatever papers refer to your phd.

I didn't even get into the aspect of an "undue burden" if you were to let states decide abortion laws. *Why should a girl in Utah not be allowed an abortion when a girl in California is at liberty to decide HER OWN FATE? *C'mon, i thought you were a feminist? *

What if her father were to find out that his little angel were pregnant...with... I don't know...a "nigger's" child. *Renee. *Do the math. *What do you say to that girl? *"Tough shit!"

You're not a feminist. *You just hate men, because they can't stand you.
