it's been 5 years since the yankees have won the world series and each one of these years, their payroll has been near $200 Million. *Now it looks like Joe Torre may be the next victim and get fired.

what the heck is going on with them??? they got the best players... a bad a$$ manager and a rich owner...

any thoughts???

Yankees pitching staff isn't all that great. I have the feeling that ChiSox might take this all the way. Suprisingly.

I'm glad those Yankees haven't won a World Series in 5 years. I hope they never win a game for the rest of their existance. All I hear is Yankees this, Yankees that, blah blah blah. I sure don't hear anybody saying "Wow, how bout them Angels, they've now beat the Yankees TWICE in the Playoffs, and now they have a shot at going to their 2nd World Series in 4 years". That team is overated, and their owner is a dumbass to think that superstar players and money is going to win them Championships.

I agree but the bigger story are the Chicago White Sox. They haven't won WS since 1917. ;)

Ya that really is a great story. I hope they do well, even though I'm an Angels fan. And I hope St. Louis wipes the floor with Houston, I hate them Astros!
