Recently, Iran issued a statement saying that any captured operatives of the Al Qaeda terrorist group will not be sent to the USA for trial.. Instead they will stay in Iran and be tried under Islamic law.

What do you think?

My opinion, Al Qaeda attacks are mostly (not all) directed at USA Civilians and interests at home and abroad. They should be tried in the USA.

thats if they get that sentence.. Remember.. Islamic law is much tougher on Muslims who kill other Muslims.. In "Islamic Law" they get anout 1/4 to 1/2 the sentence for killing a non-muslim... Thats the catch.

They dont deserve a trial. I mean what are we trying to prove. These idiots take responsibility for the acts of terrorism so I say just take them out and kill them.

Killing them is too easy and will take them out of their misery. They need to be punished and tortured as long as they live on this earth.. Let them beg you to kill them.

You are against capital punishment which kills criminals that have been proven to do outrageous things like murder, rape, blow up buildings but you think a woman should have the right to choose to kill her unborn innocent child?

Armenian,

I don't attack anyone. I voice my opinions and beliefs and respond to what others say. If i don't agree with someones viewpoint then I will come out and say that. What kind of forum for debate would we have here if everyone tip toed around the issues they don't agree with. I brought up the issue of abortion because it was topic that we had been going back and forth about and capital punishment is about killing and in my opinion so is abortion.

Spoiled,

You don't have to say why you think capital punishment is wrong but it really doesn't facilitate an interesting response by just saying you are against it without saying why.

I don't know why everyone is so sensitive when it comes to defending their opinion or being challenged on their opinion. It doesn't bother me at all to explain why I feel a certain way or to call someone out on something I disagree with. If we don't discuss and debate important issues how can we ever learn or grow.

In conclusion I am not on here to make any enemies or to cause friction but I think this is a great way to voice our opinions and to take into consideration the opinions of others.
