It was complete BS.. It very turbulent here in the OC.. I could hear all my neighbors yelling at their TVs.. Payback time will come during game 3 in Anaheim.

In all honesty, if the tables were turned and that crap happened to Chicago, I would still question the call.. In the name of the game and sportsmanship! *It's ok, these things only make the Angels stronger.

bottom of the ninth, bases are empty. *The score is 1-1 tied. *Sox are up to bat with 2 outs. *A.J. Pierzynski was on his second strike. *The pitch was low and Pierzynski swung and missed. *The Umpire shouts "strike three". *In Pierzynski's head, he seemed to think the ball hit the ground before it was caught by the catcher (it was close but did not touch the ground). *Pierzynski takes off to first and is then called safe. *Next batter comes up and smacks one out to left field bringing Pierzynski home for a 2-1 win.

Looking at the slow replay, the ball absolutely did NOT touch the ground. *It was so obvious.

It was a fair call but still was very odd. It was the catchers fault.

well the catcher should have tagged him out to be on the safe side. *But he knew he caught it clean is the problem. *So he didn't even think to tag him after the umpire shouted "strike three". *Next games will be payback though. *it's 1-1
