Good Morning!

Ah, the joy of sitting on this wonderful uncomfortable hard chair at 8am drinking amazingly horrible coffee, starring aimlessly on a child development chart in hopes that it will magically get stored in my memory (or at least my temporary short term memory until Thursday).

To make the morning even more exciting I woke up today and remembered that my utility bill is due today, so I get the adventure of going and waiting in an endless line that ventures through a Zig-Zag obstacle course (you know those stupid little rope barriers offices set up to make you walk through--I sometimes believe they set them up for their own enjoyment). Once at the window I get the beautiful experience of dealing with a window teller that absolutely hates her job and every sheer moment of it, so I should be receiving the up most superior treatment from these fine cheerful teller ladies.

Ah, the wonderful morning that awaits me, I know you all are deeply and truly jealous of my day, but if anyone of you really feels it is unfair that your morning isn't going as such, feel free to come and sit in my chair and stare aimlessly on the chart and then go and proceed to wait in the adventure course to pay my bill.

If anyone decides to do this, I will give you a wonderful reward :love: !

Well....I woke up this morning at 7 to take a shower so I can go to class at 8 which is a lot of fun knowing that my teacher ADORES me...so now i'm sitting in this computer chair drinking orange juice talking to people and posting on this forum...I am having a good time...at 10 I have calculus then I have chemistry at 12 and autocad at 2...wow what a busy day...I just finished my assignment and I thought I would go grab some breakfast from Tim Hortons..YUMMY ;)...

Skipper I hope that your day gets better...I understand how you feel...honestly I also hate waiting in line at the bank...and once you get to the window...the teller isn't really in a good mood...I don't know why though...some of them are so happy and some of them are in the worst mood possible...it makes you not want to go to the bank anymore...but someone has to go take care of the bills right!

Ah, the day just got a bit better. After my third cup of bad coffee, I walked my numb rear end (due to the uncomfortable chairs) to the beloved cafeteria, where I order a morning Heart Attack. The morning heart attack consists of eggs, sausage, cheese, and bacon in a sandwhich. As I eat this, I truly believe I am clogging an coronary artery. All I can hope for is that the coffee acts as an thinnning agent and reduces the clogging.

Hmm, I just love it when the person behind me insists on having the curtains drawn on the window. It makes for a wonderful experience trying to view my laptop screen. I just love it.

I asked him if he can close them and he states that he needs his morning sunshine. How can I forget that, we all need the sun glaring onto us while trying to memorize a child development chart.

Hopefully another cup of bad coffee can help calm the nerves.

LoL.....Skipper i love this guy already your day sounds like shit but it will get better.
For one why wait in line to pay your bill see I do the fun thing by calling in and pay with credit card method yes you stay on hold all day and push lots of buttons but its better than that line.
My morning consisted of banging my alarm clock a million times..going and washing my face, brushing my teeth, deciding if i want my hair str8 or curly and I didnt have time for str8 so I went curly and when I am blow drying my hair i am putting my make up on at the same time....thinking what to wear so I don't waste time .Going downstairs to put my Special k in a tubaware to eat for breakfest at work. Go, now pretty much running upstairs to change. Spend about 5 minutes on what to wear throw it on..take cell phone purse keys and ceral and speed like there is not speed limt to get to work and ahh.....one day out of the week get there one time actuall getting there a minute early...Thats huge since i'm always 5 to 10 minutes late every morning. and now I'm staring at 19" double screens thinking I really don't feel like working today. and that it is only 11:30 and I have to be here til 5. This better go fast.

Sorry my day isn't as bad as all of yours but this is my day.

Sidenote why are offices so damn cold...its always cold in here. I have to work with younger women this damn hot flashes menopause thing is going to get me sick from the cold...I think its warmer outside than in my office.

Hmm, I wish I had the choice of paying my bill via the internet or the phone, but see living on a caribbean island, those options aren't around.

So, I went and waited in line with what felt like half the island. I get to the window and today being my lucky day I actually have a person that pretends I actually exists in front of the window.

She pulls up my account on their super high-tech mega data-base computer and looks up and says in her great and beautiful island english, "Thaat bee won-HUN-RED-Dorthy-welalf sent". Now to truly understand how that is said you need to say it as if it is one long word.

If you are wondering what she said in modern english then I will translate. She said the following, "That will be one hundred thirty and twelve cents". It only takes a few months to pick up on local english, so don't think it is an amazing talent I have to be able to translate it.

Anyways, it is almost lunch time, this shall be another adventure.

I have decided that I am a fan of diet coke vanilla. I am not a pop fan (Yes, I say pop for soda), but for some reason diet coke vanilla has become my latest addiction.

Although, I am sitting here, still starring at the chart and day dreaming about smoking an argyala (hookah) and having a glass of dark black tea. Ah, that sounds so good.

Ok , back to reality, need to continue to stare at this darn chart.

Oh, but I wont be on the island for much longer. I only have 6 more months or so and then I am back in the states, hopefully somewhere warm and near the ocean. Ah, I miss my great state of Florida.
