Woke up around 8am today. Figured I check some work emails, read the news and check to see what’s going on at Chaldeanchat. Took off to Anaheim for about an hour to take care of some business, then paid some bills. Had lunch at a Lebanese restaurant and then got back home around 12:30pm. Other than that it was a pretty boring day. Not sure what is going on tomorrow. My family is going to be at a party in Malibu tonight. It's about an hour drive from me (more with traffic) so I decided not to go.
Im pretty much pissed off as hell at one of my friends to say the least. I been friends with the guy for 20 years. Well he lives out of state and decided to take his wife to California for the weekend. The thing was is he was down the street from my house and didn't even bother to call me to hook up.. Not even for a few minutes. I can understand if he was busy sightseeing and being a tourist.. But what’s the big deal of hooking up for coffee or something, especially beings we have not seen each other in years. So I get this call this morning from him saying he was in Laguna beach and the LA area this weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, driving home monday)... I asked him why he didn't bother calling me and he said "because your phone number said it was disconnected". So I asked him, "you mean the phone number you just called me on?". Not to mention my other cell phones he could have called as well. Anyways, I don't have time for any bullshit and hung up (20 years and he still has not learned that I can NOT be BSed). **** him, I hope he enjoys his life. No manners.

It's November today. Woke up around 8am and logged into Chaldeanchat.net to give Teffo a hard time. Left my house at around 9am and headed up to Long Beach. Spent most of the day there and met a friend for lunch around 12:30pm. Got back home around 2pm. The weather was very nice today in Southern California.. It was Mild, not to cold, not to hot. Didn't feel like answering my cell phone most the day. I really should have stoped by UPS center to pick up some packages and send some out.. Oh well, another day.
On another note, I saw an 80 something year old man crash his scooter in some bushes.. It was near Leisure World retirement community. he went off the curb.. looked like he was hitting the 3 wheel motion on switches. He took the bush out. It took me and another guy to get him out. He was ok though.
Tomorrow I am responsible for a big job. I hope it goes smoothly.
I really should start Christmas Shopping!

It’s already Wednesday!!! Woke up at 7am. Today was nothing but a balancing act. I got a lot accomplished today. The Big job in Riverside for a major contract went exceptionally well. The phone company was at the worksite on time, the install team was able to run the cables to my original plans, electrical work in the building was completed properly.
Ate lunch at a pretty good Italian Deli. Ordered a mortadella sandwich on sliced sour dough.
I was able to finally make it to UPS to pick up some packages and send some out. Unfortunately the incoming shipment was huge and it took me 2 hours to receive everything.
Got home around 3pm. Can't wait until the weekend.

Well woke up at the usual 8am and left the house at 9am. I left my cell phone at home and when I found out I did not have it with me, I freaked and thought I lost it. So I turned around and went back home, it was there on my dresser.. wheew!.. I worked in the LBC until around 2pm. I may have to take on some jobs in Palm Springs (the freaking desert) this week, but I am not sure if that will work out.
I decided to start looking at hot tubs today. Not sure if I want to get one or which brand I should go for but I will research them online if I can.
Tonight I have plans to meet a friend at a Peruvian resturant. Peruvian food is soo good!.. I usually order "Lomo Saltado", which is a beef stir fry with rice.
P.S. Meme, love you too.. It's a shame you have to live 2356.4 miles from me.
Emma, I'll let you baby sit my lil dog when ever I go away. ;)

Wednesday (Hump day)
I walk into this Romanian Deli today to get some fresh Gypsy Salami (Tziganskaya). I order a half of pound of the stuff. Before she starts to slice it she asked me again, "how much". I replied "a half pound". So she begins to slice and slice and slice and slice. I’m watching her like "God damn, what is she doing?". She puts in on the scale.. Sure enough is shows "0.98lbs", just under a pound. I responded politely, "miss, I ordered a half pound". She replies "too bad, I already sliced it". As if it was my fault. I asked her "what is the point of asking for a half of pound if you are going to give me whatever you slice?!?!?" and I walked out.
People, I tell you. :disgusted:

Busy day in Palm Springs today. had enough time to eat lunch at a good Thai restaurant though. The bill came out to $6.50. I said to myself, "I'd rather spend $6.50 for this healthy food then pay the same amount at McDonalds for shit food!"

Weekend review:
The weather this weekend was awesome. It reached 85F.
On Saturday, During the daytime I went Christmas shopping. I am now 80% finished and feel next weekend I will be DONE! My sister has been out of town on a business/research trip. So I took my brother in law out to go clubbing in Hollywood. We had a pretty good time.
On Sunday, the weather kicked ASS.. It's the best it has been in a long time. I decided to go to Malibu and have lunch on the beach at Paradise cove. The weather on the beach was around 70F (perfect). At this place they take your order on the beach so I ordered some Heinekens, fried calamari, and seared Ahi Tuna. After lunch I took a long walk on the beach to clear my head. Got back home around 3pm and relaxed the rest of the night wondering where the hell my weekend went.

Well let's see what caused Armo agita today:
-My Grandmother lost my grandfather in San Diego and she called me from a payphone crying and complaining that no one answers their phone (which they don't). So most the day I tried to track my grandfather down. They finally found eachother at the mall. Any money says my grandfather got whacked on the head with my grandmother's hand bag.
-One of my uncles has the chicken pox (his second time in his life having them, for F*** sake is that even possible?!?!). He is very sick.
-several people called me worried they are going to loose their jobs at the end of the year (I hope not). I told them I haven't heard anything.
-Found out most my family will not be able to make it to Thanksgiving dinner.
-Found out I will not be able to see most of my family during Christmas time.
-My dad's car blew his front tire while rolling on the freeway. My mom was with him and thought she was going to die. I told him to check that tire last weekend when it looked like it didn't have any air in it. He told me "oh no it's a low profile tire, it is supposed to look that way".
-My sister is on a business trip and became very sick. My brother in-law may have to leave tonight on a flight to be with her.
Im not answering the phone the rest of the night.
Oh, Teffo’s Aunt died, hope her family will be ok.

My History lesson for the day:
Today I got the privilege to go to a WWII museum with my neighbor (A WWII veteran). The guy was at pearl harbor the day it was bombed. From there on he went to fight in numerous battles in the Pacific and European theaters. He had detailed stories of rescuing POWs in the Philippines.
At the Museum, I got to see weapons, tanks, aircrafts, and uniforms from both Axis and Allied forces. It was truly a wealth of knowledge. Some of it I already knew, but some new information I learned. I seen a Luger pistol that was taken from a German officer killed in action and read the story behind it.
I got to chance go actually go inside a paratrooper jump plane with some of the old timers there. They showed me how they would hook up to a cable in the plane. The man in line behind you would check your parachute and wait until the red light turned green. When the light turned green they would jump out one at a time into the sky with axis forces shooting at them in mid air. After landing (if they survived), they had to gather themselves and start fighting. The stories they shared were amazing to hear.
They also had all kinds of antiques from that era such as things you would find in an average American home during that time. They had original old radios, telephones, and newspapers covering the war. An old lady there told me about what life was like back then. All the women (including herself) had to do the man's job back then. Most all the able men back then were off to war, leaving the women behind. From what was said, the women did back breaking work. They to are heros in my eyes.
My advice to anyone is if you ever meet an old timer from the WWII era, asked them all the questions you can. They are getting old and will soon die in the years to come. This is valuable first hand information you can not get just by reading a history book. To better understand the present, you need to better understand the past. Don't be ignorant of history.

Well one of my cousins out of the blue packed up and moved to Turkey (doesn't speak a word of Turkish) a couple of months ago. I had not heard of where he is or how he is doing. This is nothing new because this cousin has always been a nomad. How he always manages to survive is beyond my comprehension.. Well come to find out this morning, he had moved to Armenia and scooped up some Armenian girl (who doesn't speak a word of English). He is now back in the USA and trying to bring this Armenian girl to the USA in time for Christmas. He doesn't have a job or a place to live and can not stay in one place for too long. Of course this is going to be a disaster. This now this is really is putting a strain on my family over Christmas when my cousin goes through girlfriends like underwear anyway. Then this girl he just met, he wants to marry her so she can become a citizen, phuck that!
It’s his life, he can choose to do whatever he pleases. But when it starts to effect my family, then I get upset.
As for other worries in my life.. I found out today that I dodged a major bullet. Scratch that worry off the list. Maybe I can sleep better tonight.

Well TGIF, things are starting to come together before the end of the year. I will try to take it easy this month. Looks like I will be spending Christmas in San Francisco this year. Gives me a chance to get out of the concrete jungles of Southern California. Tomorrow I plan on watching the USC vs. UCLA game with friends even though we all know USC is going to stomp on UCLA.
Things I seen today:
1) an Armenian lady with the nicest booty I have every seen,
2) The Islamic community of Mission Viejo had a sign up saying "The Islamic community of Mission Viejo would Like to wish you a merry Christmas" with a life size scene on the nativity. Thought it was cool.

My disturbing dream I had last night.. It really mentally F**ked me up the whole damn day:
I was laying on my deathbed in a hospital with cancer. I was not sure where the cancer was.. Somewhere in my stomach. My whole family was in the room crying and talking to a doctor. I felt ill and pain so much. I remember thinking to myself "ok how does this death thing work? do I just lay here and close my eyes? How do I know when it's time?"
Well I woke up all sweaty and then relived that it was a dream.. Needless to say I was disturbed all day by it. Was trying to take even better care of myself today.

Was stuck in traffic today for 5 hours. There was a fatal accident and the whole freeway was shut down. People that don't know how to drive end up senselessly killing other people or killing themselves. I see these kinds of people on the road everyday. They don't know how much pain they can cause a family when they recklessly kill someone. All because they want to drive like an idiot!
