So they play in the same arean. Staples Center.
But they obviously have different fans. how are the fans divided? I mean is west L.A. Clippers fans and east L.A. Laker fans? or is it mixed?

Its either a mix or a tug of war (winning fans support). So if either teams make it to the play offs that who they'll root for LoL ;)

I never met a Clippers fan to be honest.. and I live in the Los Angeles area. I think the Lakers are the more favorite team in LA.

That could change bro. Its too early in the season but the Clippers are getting off from a great start so far. Maybe they'll win some support along with respect.

Well I do believe the Lakers franchise has more money. If the clippers start drafting better and more recognizable players, that will be the only thing that will scoop up more fans. My opinion.

Well I do believe the Lakers franchise has more money. If the clippers start drafting better and more recognizable players, that will be the only thing that will scoop up more fans. My opinion.
This year , this season, so far they're doin really good. They have good players and young talents already. The only way they can gain recognition right now is by them takin this team to the playoffs or maybe to win the Western Division who knows. They need to recognize the whole team not just individual players.

Why wouldn't it make sense? Its an awesome rivalry. Cubs and Sox are probably the best rivalry in baseball. Usually big cities have 2 teams.

Its all about the Clippers in LA too, if you go to a clippers vs. lakers game, people buy the clippers tickets, they tend to be cheaper :lol:
on a seperate note, a lot of lakers fans are clippers fans as well, and we hope to see the clippers perform good and go up to the finals for once at least.
So our main support is lakers, then the clippers, but there are some hardcore clippers fans.... and there is no fights or rivarly.. its all good.. :o
