Since my thread about turshee was a hit, I thought I would start another one about one of my favourite ethnic foods. I love to eat Gemar all the time. Breakfeast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack, with chi, with juice, etc. I love it. Especially with honey but if there is cherry murabba in the house, thats what I top it off with.

Do you like Gemar? If so, do you like to eat it plain or with something on top such as honey or jam?

^^^ hardly anything is healthy these days...if you can't beat it...join it...lol I eat what I want when I want and I could care less about fat...cause I go to the gym and I drink a lot of PEPSI to even it out lol...oh man do I love my PEPSI...I bring a 2L to work...cause we only carry coke products...but I still love FRUITS AND VEGGIES...I eat 2 apples a day and an orange...but I also eat a lot of candy...see I don't care...you only live once...

but I LOVE GEMAR...with honey...and warm chi haleeb...with 3 sugars and milk...that's the STUFF!

Anyhow, for those of you who don't know what gemar is, it's pretty much a thick spread like cream cheese, but with a little taste of yogurt with it. A lot of Chaldean and Arabic women make it at home. My mom makes really good Gemar.
