What do you like to do while on a plane?

Some of the typical things are:

read
listen to music
sleep
pray/meditate
talk to people next to you

Anything else?

The last time I flew I got sick of all of these things.

I like to read and if the flight is long enough and they offer movies, I'll watch the movie. I never get sick of reading on a plane - once I pick up a book, I usually have a hard time putting it down until I'm done so this gives plenty of time for me to indulge. I do like to drink on the plane as well. I am typically a very social person, but for some reason, I don't like talking to anyone on the plane.

I will sleep (if its international) so not to be jet lagged. Sometimes I work, watch a dvd, read, listen to audio books, watch their movies (if they're good), and of course, drink

When I'm a passenger, I pass out before we've even taken off.

However, since I'm usually working when I fly, I'm usually:
-getting yelled at by a woman who didn't get a seat next to her hubby for a 30 minute flight
-running around ragged trying to quench the thirst of 300+ Indians enroute to Mumbai (if something is free I swear they will deplete our supply)
-getting pissed that I can't finish one sudoku puzzle on a 14-hr flight
-cleaning up vomit
-being handed cups filled with pee from passengers too lazy to get up to go to the lav
-wishing I had earplugs after the 300th "ding"
-ready to punch someone who expects change for $100 when he buys a $3 snack...I'm not a friggin cash register!
-being sought after for mundane/silly things by all middle eastern passengers thanks to the announcement made by the lead that I speak arabic
-wishing I could step out on the wing for a breather
-being envious of sleeping passengers on red-eyes
-wondering how many more days I can continue my trip before my uniform smells like ass
-bitching out pilots who think they're flying a fighter jet
-picking up garbage while saying "YOU'RE trash". Lol...we all do it and no one ever gets it lol

But after all this, can you believe I still love my job? There's a lot of good stuff too, but I thought it would be more fun to list all the bad.

Aww, you're so sweet Caramel, thank you.

I'm actually going back to school to get a nursing degree, so I'll eventually be leaving this job. It won't be easy leaving after I've been doing it so long, but I really can't see myself in the future with a family and flying 18 days a month. But I'll be taking with me some incredible memories I'll never forget.

I also stay up all night so I can sleep on the plane, but that'll usually take only an hour or two away, I spent the next 5-6 hours listening to music, reading, and sometimes if I'm lucky, talking to the person next to me.

I love looking at those catelogies they always have on the planes. I can't wait until a couple months when I'm on a plane again. They always have the coolest items in those magazines.
